Mint Patty Cake

Ingredients
1 package devil's food cake mix (regular size)
1-1/3 cups water
3 eggs
1/2 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon mint extract
FROSTING:
4 cups white baking chips
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons butter
9 miniature chocolate-covered peppermint patties, finely chopped
Additional miniature chocolate-covered peppermint patties
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, eggs, oil and extract; beat on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes.

Вспомните, когда появилось в нашем обиходе слово “чизкейк”? Недавно. Сумасшедший пирог "Crazy Cake".

Crazy Cake - это американский пирог, в переводе звучит как "Сумасшедший торт (пирог)". Его придумали в США в период дефицита. Данный пирог имеет необыкновенный вкус, несмотря на свой простой состав. В нём отсутствует масло, но блюдо совершенно не уступает по вкусовым качествам тортам, которые в своем составе имеют этот ингредиент.

Для приготовления сумасшедшего пирога "Crazy Cake" нам понадобится:
2 стакана молока;
2 стакана муки;
1,5 стакана сахара;
6 ст. л. какао;
4 ч. л. разрыхлителя.
Для крема:
2 стакана молока;
1 стакан сахара;
3 ст. л. муки;
1 яйцо.
